Kansas public schools need CHAMPIONS!
From Elkhart to Atchinson, Saint Francis to Columbus, Kansas public schools demonstrate what happens when good people get involved. And now more than ever, school districts need good people as volunteers, allies and champions! KanSPRA is proud to continue the long and dedicated investment of the Kansas Task Force in Education of recognizing Kansas Friends of Education.
Education leaders across Kansas are encouraged to use these resources in your district to recognize the volunteers, community leaders, legislators and others who help make your schools strong. Whether during American Education Week in November, National Volunteer Appreciation Week in April -- or at whatever time is meaningful in your district -- don't miss this chance to show the ways that community makes your schools great! Help yourself to these resources, schedule a special presentation at a board meeting, pep assembly or staff meeting, and tell the CHAMPIONS in your community how much they mean to you!
Who should be recognized?
